Born Pretty Store stamping plate review- Black Cat 03
Recently I was approached by Born Pretty Store to do some reviews of their products and today I will be showing you one of their stamping plates. This one is the Black Cat 03 image plate.
I chose this plate because it looked like it had a variety of images on it that could be used for different themes. And of course for the cute little cat image in the lower right corner.
I started off with a base of China Glaze Givers Theme. I wanted something bright as my base color to make the images really pop. I used Mentality Touch for the stamping.
I tried out a few of the images on this plate. With the exception of the smearing on my middle finger from the top coat, you can see they all transferred clean and crisp. I was particularly impressed with the details in the Frame image on my ring finger.
Overall, I was really impressed with how well this plate worked and have heard great things about the other plates available. I will be looking to add a few more to my collection in the future. The details on the frame are really impressive!
ReplyDeleteBP has really stepped it up with their plates! I love them
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute plate! So neat that there coming out with their own stamping plates.
ReplyDeleteThe roses image looks very pretty!
ReplyDeleteI need that plate, if only for the stars....
ReplyDeleteBPS is really doing some awesome plates lately! This one has such a random assortment of image though, LOL! That is something that I have noticed about some of them that makes me laugh!
ReplyDeleteLove the mirror pattern!
ReplyDeleteI received basically all plates from BPS today and I am excited about them, the quality looks great!
ReplyDeleteThese are really pretty!! I really like that mirror stamp. It would be cool to paint some roses or something in the middle of it!
ReplyDeleteLovely! Born Pretty has really been stepping up their game recently, so many lovely stamping plates. I love that mirror (?) image!
ReplyDeleteI just wish it was a little wider so I would feel confident painting some nail art inside of it.
ReplyDeleteThey really have. I was a bit skeptical at first but I have yet to read a negative review on them. And now they are adding the backing to the plates so you don't have the sharp edges.
ReplyDeleteAnd they are doing a great job with them too!
ReplyDeleteI'm a sucker for floral manicures and that image caught my eye along with the cute kitty of course.
ReplyDeleteId love to try it in a negative space mani next time.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I think the colors helped the images to pop.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great one to have in your collection.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't they be fun in a 4th of july manicure!
ReplyDeleteThe little one is super cute.
ReplyDeleteI kind of like the random images because it give you more opportunities to use the plates. But I also like themed plates too for skittle manicures.
ReplyDeleteI just wish it was a tad wider so I could do some nail art inside. But I bet if I painted the center silver it would look good too.
ReplyDeleteOh Im a little jealous of that. I love stamping plates.
ReplyDeleteIt really would. Only problem with that for me is that it's a little narrow for me to feel confident about painting something inside it.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if it's a mirror or a frame. Either way it might be my favorite image on this plate.
ReplyDeletebeautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love this manicure and I think you've managed to create a beautiful and inspiring nail art creation <3 xxx

ReplyDeleteI love the silver over purple stamping! I like the rose images!
