There's just so much awesome going on, I can hardly stand it!
Last Day to Get: "Sometimes We All Go a Little Mad" exclusively at Polish Pickup!
After binge-watching Bates Motel on Netflix a few months back, when the Horror Movie theme was assigned for September Polish Pickup, Mr. Sassy Pants and I chose Psycho as our inspiration. 

"Sometimes We All Go a Little Mad" is a chilly icy blue scattered holo with a red/violet shifting shimmer, plus a rainbow of fantasy, crystal chameleon and other assorted flakies.
Today is the final day to pre-order! Open until 10:59pm CST!
Polish Con is this Saturday 9/15!
Both lines, Sassy Pants Polish & Handmade Natural Beauty are excited to be attending the next Polish Con in Minneapolis, Minnesota right across from the Mall of America at the Marriott Minneapolis Airport! All of our Event Polishes are inspired by Prince's Paisley Park and are a play on words to his songs. Our Exclusive (only available at Polish Con while supplies last) is "Purple Reign". 

Our Limited Editions available at PC and online/boutique afterward are "When Doves Sigh," "Raspberry Soiree," and "Nothing Compares to Blue." All were performed and made famous by the late artist, Prince, with the exception of the song "Nothing Compare to You" which was made famous by Sinéad O'Connor. Who didn't cry along with her to that video? It was the perfect most gut wrenching break up song of all time!
Purple Reign: Yes, it is a gorgeous blurple shifty magnetic polish! $13 only available at the event. If you can't make it to the event, they have started a fairy program where you can pre-pay and a polish fairy will shop for you. Click here!

"Wild Things"
"Books" is the theme for this month's Polish Pickup. Mr. Sassy Pants and I chose Where the Wild Things Are. The book held a special place in his heart as a child and has fond memories of reading it to his three boys when they were young. My son also is a fan! 

Our resulting polish from this inspiration is a gorgeous azure blue jelly holographic polish with various holographic microshreds, glitter and a red/purple shimmer. The shimmer was a bit camera shy in swatches, but is gorgeous in person! $12 and no cap on the number of bottles available.

Only available through Monday, March 5th, so go get your hands on this exclusive before it's gone for good!
Handmade Natural Beauty
As you are probably aware, Sassy Pants Polish is the sassy little sister company to Handmade Natural Beauty, the bath, and body line I began in 2001. We have one fabulous item available at Polish Pickup as well. Inspired by Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice, meet “Proud As a Peacock.” This luxurious handmade and creatively swirled soap is scented with a Blackberry Sage Tea fragrance. This soap is considered a bastille soap which means it has at least 70% olive oil and is a nice gentle soap, ideal for sensitive skin. The design is meant to resemble the peacock which is depicted on the cover of the book in addition to the old watermarbled papers that can be found inside the covers and decorating the for edges. Each soap will be unique and different! 

Only a limited number available at Polish Pickup through Monday, March 5th, or sell out, so don't delay!

There's just so much awesome going on, I can hardly stand it!
"New England Christmas"
"Holidays Around the World" is the theme for this month's Polish Pickup. I created "New England Christmas" focusing on the tradition of lighted candles in the windows and white Christmas lights, a fond memory from my childhood traveling east from Wisconsin to Connecticut for the holidays. 

While Christmastime with both sides of my family was my favorite holiday growing up, the Christmas's out East were something quite special. My Italian grandparents plus my dad and uncles (most with culinary backgrounds) spent days preparing for the event of the year. A large several course feast in which they hosted probably 40 or so family members. Think "My Big Fat Greek Wedding"... that. Only we're Italian and not Greek, but you get the idea. Lots of hugging, kissing, laughing and feasting. My grandparents have since passed and these extended gatherings are no more, but they are a fond memory I will always cherish.

OK, back to the polish! It is a champagne platinum holographic polish with iridescent shifting and gold glitters with a touch of red shimmer. $12
