LynBDesigns - Lost Without my Blogger
Happy Hump day everyone. My post today was hand picked by my 8-year-old son, Conner. I gave him a choice of 3 polish types and he chose "The green polish with glitter" which is LynBDesigns Lost Without my Blogger. When I told him the name of the polish he said: "Mom I picked the one with the right name because you're a blogger!" You might be wondering why I'm telling you this but trust me it's big news in this household. Normally I get eye rolls and groans from my boys at the mere mention of polish.
Lost Without my Blogger from the Baker Street collection, has a green base containing circle glitters in light and regular green and hex glitters in a multitude of camo colors along with small squares in a dark green.
Can I let you in on a little secret? I actually purchased this almost a year ago, slipped it into a helmer drawer and forgot about it. I know, I know I'm a bad blogger, but there is a plus side! Even though this bottle has sat unloved for that long the glitters have stayed suspended in the base. Before application, I rolled the bottle between my hands maybe 4 times and got set to work. As you can see there is a lot of glitter on my nails, without fishing or any placement. The other bonus, all the glitters are laying flat on the nail, no taco glitter here! I can't be the only one who finds that impressive.
Shown here is 3 coats plus top coat. I would recommend waiting for a few minutes between coats if you're going for full coverage. That way you avoid moving the glitters around on the nail. I didn't quite get full coverage here, but I used this as a base for my Presents manicure in a nail art challenge where full coverage wasn't needed.
And of course here's a macro shot with a matte top coat, so you can see all the details Lost Without my Blogger, has to offer. Do you like it better glossy or matte?
Lost without my Blogger is still available on Etsy where a full sized bottle will cost you $8. Be sure to check out my previous reviews of Mind Palace which is also available from the Baker Street Collection and Nightmare Revisited from the Nightmare Begins collection.
I'd also like to hear your thoughts on my new share buttons floating over there on the left. Are they a distraction, have you ever noticed the other set I have way down there at the very bottom? Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Polishing!
Love that green! So bright, makes me think of spring!
ReplyDeleteSOooo Prettty it looks like the perfect St.Patrick Day polish, it makes me so happy and also want fish and chips lol thanks for sharing ! :) *heads over to etsy shop*
ReplyDeleteWow! What a great color! I'm not a polish wearer but if I did I would def be into this!
ReplyDeleteThis would be great for St Pattys Day/ springtime! Great pics :)
ReplyDeleteYour son picked a great color. What a awesome jam packed glitter that is and the name is fun too.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't even thought about St Patrick's day, great thinking!
ReplyDeleteI actually went a very long time not wearing nail polish after wanting to wear it all the time when I was little.
ReplyDeleteI'm so stuck on coming up with ideas for Valentines Day that I didn't even think about St. Patrick's when I put this on.
ReplyDeleteI was so impressed that he wanted to help me pick which polish to write about. I love it when they show interest.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I actually used to bite my nails for a long time and never wore nail polish. Now that I've kicked that habit I like to have them painted. Almost like a reward to myself.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun polish! I can't ever seem to make sparkly polish work, but this makes me want to try again.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! And I love the share buttons!
ReplyDeleteAaah, the matte macro is delicious! I love matte glitter :).
ReplyDeleteThat is too cute! Love the color
ReplyDeleteSoo cute!! I love the color! It's such a beautiful green!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful swatch! It looks jam-packed with glitters, I love it. And the side share buttons aren't distracting at all, I almost didn't notice them till I read it.
ReplyDeleteI think I have that one. I purchased it a year ago to during her %50 off sale. I have not used yet but it looks good on you.
ReplyDeletewow these swatches look great :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your honest opinion with us!

We both have Conners!!! Mine is quite a bit younger than yours though :-P You are totally not a bad blogger because I have been more than guilty of buying a polish and putting it away, never to be seen again in years!!! This is so pretty and looks like it would be perfect for St. Patty's Day!!
ReplyDeleteOh and I LOVE the new share buttons!!!
There is definitely a learning curve when it come to applying glitter bombs like this. I actually watched a few youtube videos for some tips and tricks before I found a way the works for me.
ReplyDeleteThank you, and thanks for the feedback about the buttons. =)
ReplyDeleteThanks. I'm working on getting better macro shots and every once in a while I get lucky.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I had fun getting my son involved.
ReplyDeleteIt's a fun polish for sure.
ReplyDeleteHmmm not sure I like the thought of people not noticing my share buttons at all, but Im glad they aren't a distraction. Thanks for your feedback.
ReplyDeleteI picked it up during a %50 off sale also!
ReplyDeleteAwe that's a wonderful thing to read. Thank you for that!
ReplyDeleteAnd it looks like we both spell it the same way! Dani I've missed your comments they always make me smile. I'm glad to see you back to blogging and I hope everyone in your household stays healthy. Thanks for your feedback about the buttons, I'm hoping people will start to use them now that I finally have some set up where they can be seen.
ReplyDeleteI am incredibly familiar with the blogging eyerolls, yet my son proudly tells his friends that his mum's job is a nail artist!
ReplyDeleteUgh, it hurts just thinking about VDay manis... I have no idea what I'm going to do!
ReplyDeleteTo be honest neither do I. I've been scouring Pinterest hoping inspiration will strike.
ReplyDeleteThats awesome. I wish my boys were proud of what Im doing. My mom brags me up all the time and so do the boyfriends daughters so I've got that going for me at least.
ReplyDeleteGreen is such a great color on you, and this polish looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteSo much glitter! I like everything better matte, so that's what I'd have to go with for this look. :)
ReplyDeleteWow, that polish looks awesome! I've had this polish for close to a year too and still haven't worn it. I really need to get through my untrieds haha....
ReplyDeleteThis polish is great! I love the name. I don't usually paint my nails, but this color would be so fun to wear.
ReplyDeleteI am more than ready for spring especially since we got 2 inches of snow over night and there is more on the way.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful green - such a pretty glitter bomb!
ReplyDeleteI like most things matte too but not everything. Like Holo's for example those just look better glossy to me.
ReplyDeleteAwe thanks =) I don't think of myself as a green polish kind of girl but then I look at my collection and realize that I own a lot of green nail polish. And I reach for it more often than I realized.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't get over the quality this polish has, that is almost more impressive than how pretty it is.
ReplyDeleteIt's very glitter packed!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is so packed with glitter! And the green is gorgeous :)
