Ellagee-Sangria With the Girls (LE)
Today I'm sharing with you a limited edition nail polish from Ellagee called Sangria With the Girls. In fact, this polish is so limited edition that only 5 bottles were available for purchase. Why would I do this to you? Show you a nail polish that can't be purchased? Well for one this polish is so absolutely beautiful that it has to be shared with the world. And for another, I can't contain my excitement over it. And just to warn you, this post will be picture heavy.

Sangria With the Girls is a burgundy polish with holographic glitters. Originally made as a gift for a blogger meet up, Laura decided to sell the remaining bottles and I knew I had to get one as soon as I saw the pictures.

Laura knew what she was doing when she named this one! Just look at that deep rich color. It's like the perfect berry wine shade and the holo is the bubbles floating up to the surface. Anyone else want a glass of wine now? Ok maybe it's a little early for that, but it is Friday so go ahead and treat yourself tonight.

The application was smooth with the first coat going on slightly sheer. But Sangria builds up nicely, reaching full opacity after 2. Show here is 2 coats plus top coat.

I decided that even though this polish is beautiful on its own that I really need to start using some of the nail art supplies that I've collected over the last few months. So I tried my hand at making a design with some rhinestones as an accent nail.

What do you think of Sangria? Will anyone be cracking open a bottle a little later on? Thanks for stopping by and Happy Polishing!
Gorgeous! And love the rhinestones. :) I can appreciate a good limited edition. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. At first I was worried that the rhinestones were too big but after wearing it for a few days I really started to like it.
DeleteSuch a beautiful color, I can see why you'd want to share a bunch of pictures! :)
ReplyDeleteI actually had about 4 more that I really liked but knew I had to narrow it down. I already feel like there may be 1 or 2 too many. I just couldn't help myself, this polish is mesmerizing!
DeleteThat's a great color especially for fall. Love the rhinestone detail you did too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa!
DeleteWhat a gorgeous polish! And now I want it :)
ReplyDeleteLol I'm sorry I teased you with it. The Mecurial Magpie has a polish up on her blog today that actually looks a lot like this and IS available for purchase if that helps. =)

DeleteMan, this is totally gorgeous!! I am in love with her brand lately.
ReplyDeleteI have loved every polish from Ellagee that I've tried. Granted that's only been about 8 of them but she sets the bar high.
DeleteI would be totally jealous of you if I didn't already have about four wine colored holos in my stash. I have a weakness for them!
ReplyDeleteohhh which ones are they?
DeleteThat is a gorgeous color! I love holo! Thanks for sharing even if it is unavailable.
ReplyDeleteI have to tell myself that I can't wear a holo polish every time. Otherwise I probably would!
DeleteWe are all guilty of sharing what no one else can have ;-)
