The 12 Days of X-mas Mani's day 8: Holly

Hello again.  We are 2/3's of the way through the challenge! It's day 8 of the 12 Days of X-mas Mani's and today's theme is Holly.

Thankfully I had a small break in my schedule and I am finally able to be back to posting on time. Fingers crossed I can keep it up for the rest of the challenge.

For this manicure, I wanted to go with something light and delicate. I started off with a subtle gradient of Milani White on the Spot and Zoya Trixie. I then went in with really fine point sharpie markers and drew in the holly.

I really really like the way this turned out. I think it might be my favorite out of all the manicures from this challenge so far. Sometimes I surprise myself with what I can do when I get the time to really sit down and work on it. But that's enough of tooting my own horn, let see what everyone else came up with for today's theme... Thanks for stopping by.

    1. Thank you Lisa. I had to stop myself from adding more leaves. I knew if I kept going it would become too busy and possibly ruin the manicure. I cant decide if I like the middle finger or the ring finger best though.

    1. Thank you. I decided to be brave and enter this manicure in the China Glaze holiday contest because I liked it so much. I've only entered one other nail art compition before and I didn't do so well. Hoping to get better results this time.

    1. Thanks =) I had a hard time capturing the gradient in my photos because of it was so subtle, but I still love how it turned out. It was slightly stronger in real life than the pic shows but not by much.

  6. Hi, I'm here through WPNFF's blogger bootcamp - thank you for visiting my blog earlier!
I really love all your creative nail art designs, and your stash page practically makes me drool. I like seeing other bloggers' stashes; I'm so jealous of your glorious Zoya collection!
I do have a few suggestions about layout - firstly, I think that the grey background of the blog can give a dreary feel to posts, and it can detract from the photos as well. If you prefer a grey background you can have a white background just for the posts, or change the colour of the background or your theme altogether. I know it took me heaps of tweaking before I liked the look of my blog. Also, it might be easier to navigate if there was more than one post per page (I'm not sure about others but I dislike having to click every time I want to move to another post!)

Good luck with your continued polish adventures!
