Madam Glam - Found the One

Good Monday Morning to you! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. Today I am rounding up my trio of posts featuring Madam Glam polishes. I saved my favorite one for last, Found the One.

Photo was taken in incandescent lighting

Found the one is a dark vampy red polish with a jelly finish. The application was good, with the first coat applying a little uneven. Everything smoothed out after 2 and dried to a super glossy finish.

While not a traditional red I still think Found the One gives my nails a classic look. And I love how the red color comes out in the sunshine.

I tried out a little nail art and am pretty happy with the results. I just wish the studs I used matched the gold polish a little better.

For the stamping, I used Messy Mansion plate MM18 and Essie Good as Gold.  The studs I picked up from Dollar Nail Art. Which if you haven't checked that site out I highly recommend that you do. You'll find a ton of nail art supplies, very reasonably priced. The only downfall is that there is a minimum purchase of $25.

  18. Awe thank you! I was a little worried when I first got it because it looked so brown in the bottle, but boy is it gorgeous on the nail.

  19. Thanks you. I used to be afraid of dark vampy polishes because i thought they would make my nails look shorter, but now I love them.

  21. Awe thanks! I never would have worn a color like this 2 years ago because I thought it made my nails look short. Boy was I missing out!

  22. Awe thank you. When I first got the bottle it looked very brown and I was a little worried that I'd gotten a strange rust color. Thankfully it was just the lighting or something.

  23. Thank you. Yes this one looks very squishy and it's just gorgeous. I really want to wear it again, but I feel like I should give some brighter colors some love for the summer.

  27. I think a red nail is just timeless and classic. I love the look of it. Sadly most of my reds sit in the helmer unloved. I'm going to need to change that.

  28. I think a true classic red is just timeless and looks great. 2 years ago I wouldn't be caught dead wearing a dark vampy shade like this. I thought it would make my nails looks short and stubby. I'm really glad I gave this color a shot because I loved how it looks and my nails didn't seem short or stubby at all. =)

That brand has such an interesting bottle. Does it have a long brush? I love the gold studs with the vampy red.

  33. Id say the brush was pretty average. I didn't notice that it seemed longer than your typical brush when using it. I did compare it to a few other crushes quick and it's pretty close to the same size as a Julep brush and 1/4 inch shorter than China Glaze if that helps.
