Glitter gradient featuring Madam Glam Ibiza and Paradise Fiesta

Today I have a quick review of 2 polishes from Madam Glam along with a video tutorial on how I do a glitter gradient. I'm still working out the kinks with making the videos, but they are slowly getting better, and if you view it directly on YouTube there's a discount code for you.

Ibiza is a mint green polish with silver micro-shimmer. Shown here is 2 coats plus top coat. The formula on this is a little thin and I had some slight pooling along the edges of my nails. But overall I was happy with the application. Slightly sheer on the first coat Ibiza builds up nicely.

If you like shimmery polishes this one is for you. Those silver sparkles really catch the light and twinkle. There is a small amount of VNL in my photos but it wasn't really noticeable otherwise.

3 coats of Paradise Fiesta over Ibiza

Paradise Fiesta has multi-colored bar and micro glitters combined in a translucent base. I originally thought this was a clear base, but as you can see it definitely changed my base color, and not for the better either. Normally I'm not a fan of the bar glitter but I don't really mind it here. Maybe it's because they are all laying the same direction, or the variety of colors, I can't really pinpoint it but I know I will be wearing this one again, just maybe over a different base.

I was able to get a decent amount of glitter with each coat, but they did want to slide around on my nail. A small amount of dabbing was required to get the bar glitters evenly spaced around for the accent nail.   And now for that video I mentioned earlier. It's a short one, but you will be able to see how each of these polishes look during application, and their coverage after 1 coat.

I hope that wasn't too painful for you to watch. I'm having issues with uploading videos from my phone to my computer. Anything over 14 seconds won't transfer which means I have to patch multiple videos together. Hopefully, by the next time I have to do a video, I will have the kinks worked out. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Polishing!
