Sinful Shine- Prosecco

Today I have for you a polish that's been in my collection for quite awhile now since fall 2014 to be exact.  I've even worn it before but it never made it to the blog. Until now... Sinful Shine's Prosecco is one of those colors that took the nail community by storm. Once swatches started surfacing on the internet people flocked to the stores to pick this beauty up, myself included.

At the time, Processo was a unique color with not much else in the market to compete. This beige colored polish with its golden flecks was my gateway polish to a love affair with brown, beige and chocolate colored polishes.

Now don't let the color description fool you. While Prosecco is very office friendly with its neutral undertones the golden flecks that seem to float effortlessly in the polish give it an elegant look that becomes extra evident in direct lighting.

Prosecco applies quite sheer but even,  3 thin coats are all you need for full opacity. And while it dries to a smooth glossy finish I did add a glossy top coat to finish it off. Don't let the gel-tech label fool you, this polish removes just like any other with no soaking in acetone required.

Most of my polishes only get worn once, but I can see myself reaching for this beauty again and again. It's been 2 years since I wore it the first time and I like it just as much now as I did then. I have a feeling this is a polish that for me will never grow old. It looks great on its own and as a base for nail art like in my neutral marbled look from a few months ago.

What are your thoughts on Prosecco? Did you rush out to find it in stores right after the release? Let me know in the comments and as always Thanks for stopping by and Happy Polishing!
