Cult Nails - Angel Whispers
Today I have the sparkly magical goodness that is Cult Nails Angel Whispers to share with you. Angel Whispers is a soft, pastel pink with micro shimmer from the Passionate Dreams Collection.
I was pleasantly surprised at how well this covered. I was expecting a sheer polish that would take at least 3 coats if not more for good coverage. The polish was thicker than I'm used to working with and I only needed 2 coats for this manicure to reach full opacity. The thickness may be a result of the extremely cold temperatures during shipping that many of us are dealing with this winter. It wasn't so thick that the polish was unusable or difficult to work with, however. And I did let it warm up for 3 days before using it.
I really love how this macro shot turned out. I think it highlights how delicate Angel Whispers is and how perfectly it is named. It also reminds me a little of cotton candy. Anyone else craving something sweet now?

Great to see that it wasn't a super sheer polish to use. Its a nice shade.

DeleteI picked that up in the pre-sale but it's still in my untrieds. I am trying desperately to get the last of the dark vampy wintery polishes in before spring gets here. My first Cult Nails ever! Look how pretty it is on you. I love the sparkles.
ReplyDeleteI think Im going to have to go back to dark vampy colors for a while since I had a bad break and am sporting nubbins. This was a nice break from all of those though. I think you're going to love Angel Whispers once you try it and will be hooked on Cult Nails polishes. I just picked up 6 more from their $3 sale. I love a good polish sale!
